Angel Locsin is a Filipina television and film actress, film producer, commercial model, and fashion designer. She rose to national fame after portraying Alwina in the 2004 fantasy television series Mulawin, followed by her iconic role as the superheroine Darna in the television adaptation of the Darna comics created by Mars Ravelo.
Throughout her career, Angel has been nominated for and won numerous awards, including Most Influential Female TV Personality (2019). In 2008 alone, she received the Pop Female Fashionista, Outstanding Actress, and Outstanding Commercial Model awards, among many others.
